Bellaire Historical Society president and KHOU Ch. 11's resident historian for Great Day Houston, R.W. McKinney, will present the "History of Bellaire, Texas" and take the audience back to a time when cattle, instead of cars, cut through the little prairie town that would later become one of the most desirable places to live in our area. Armed with vintage photos from the Bellaire Historical Society's archives and the famed Bellaire Texan Newspaper, McKinney shows another side of Bellaire and its early people that many may not know about. Join us for the monthly speaker of the La Porte Bay Area Heritage Society.
