Can I have a PDF or paper version of the application?

Yes. If you would like a paper copy you can pick one up at City Hall and the La Porte Police Department (Emergency Management). Paper copies will not be available until 8:00 AM on Wednesday, December 16, 2020. 

We recommend applicants use the “ZoomGrants” portal to submit an application. Available under the Apply Here tab. 


When and how can I apply?

Applications will open Wednesday, December 16, 2020, at 8:00 AM at View the Apply Here tab for a link to the application. 


Can I change my application after it’s been submitted?
It is recommended that before completing and submitting the online form, respondents review answers carefully. Changes or updates can be made to applications until 11:59 PM, December 23. Changes to applications will result in a new submission time. 


What documents do I need to provide to prove my eligibility?

Do applicants receive a confirmation that they submitted their application?
Every applicant receives a confirmation screen and email after clicking submit. You may also email and ask for a confirmation. 


When will the online application portal close for submission?
Applications will close at 11:59 PM on December 23, 2020. 


How will I be contacted or know if I will receive assistance?
La Porte Cares will use email as the primary method of notification. You may also receive calls from 281-470-0010.

How do I use ZoomGrants?
ZoomGrants is a simple online application portal that will allow you apply online and accept all required documents. The portal is secure and protects your information. Learn how to create an account and use ZoomGrants
