Do grant applicants receive confirmation that their application has been received?
Every applicant will view a confirmation message after submitting the application via ZoomGrants. You may also email laportecares@laportetx.gov to request confirmation.
When will the online application portal close for submission?
Applications will close at 11:59 PM on November 20, 2020.
How will I be contacted or know if I will receive a grant?
La Porte Cares will use email as the primary method of notification. If you submitted an application, you should have received this message:
"Thank you for submitting an application through the La Porte Cares Small Business Relief Fund. This email is to notify you that your application has been reviewed by the Relief Fund Subcommittee, and you will receive an official notification of your potential grant award tomorrow, November 13, 2020. There will be a Round Two for the Small Business Relief Fund that opens tomorrow morning at 8:00 a.m., and closes at 11:59 p.m. on Friday, November 20th. We wanted to make sure you received an update on your application's status before the next round goes live. If you know any additional businesses that might need assistance, please encourage them to apply starting tomorrow morning. We appreciate your patience, and look forward to providing you with more details tomorrow."
